We build and install control panels to customer specification and we also provide a bespoke project service which includes:-

The following are just two examples of our many systems applications:-

 

Tailgate Test Rig

The application was to test the opening and closing mechanism of a tailgate for a new hatchback over the life cycle of the car.
The test rig which is mounted on the floor of the car body was designed to open and close the tailgate over thousands of repetitive cycles to test the design and durability of the tailgate mechanism.

 

Tailgate Test Rig Controls

The operations of the tailgate test rig were controlled by an SMC Pneu Alpha Controller which provided the operational flexibility to vary the test parameters.

 

 

 

 

Heat Shrink Manufacturing Line

This is one of seven control panels which were designed and built to control a heat shrink manufacturing line in the Czech Republic. In the example, the 5/2 sol/sol to the left is a lid control valve and each one of the block of valves to the right controls a function such as roller control which maintains a constant diameter to the heat shrink, opening and closing a number of fluid and gas valves and gauging. The gauges give a pneumatic feedback through another one of the seven panels.
